Masters in Applied Statistics and Data Science under Weekend Program (WM-ASDS)

A new Master Program offered by the Department of Statistics and Data Science, Jahangirnagar University

Applications are invited from the prospective students desiring to take a one year Professional Master of Science in Applied Statistics and Data Science (WM-ASDS) Program which is offered by the Department of Statistics and Data Science of Jahangirnagar University.

Course Duration : One year (3 Semesters)
Class Hours : Only Friday
Admission Requirements:

Applicants must have a

• CGPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4 or 2nd class equivalent in any backgrounds
• A Bachelor Degree (4 or 3 years or, equivalent) in any discipline
• A Masters Degree is compulsory for BSc/BCom/BSS (Two year pass) (Pre-requisite courses are required).

Application Procedure:

Application can be done either Online or Offline. You can follow any one method.

A. Online Application Process:

Make a payment of Tk 1050/- as aapplication processing fee through Online Payment Gateway.

visit: http://pm-asds.org or https://admission.pm-asds.org/login and log in with your mobile no. and Txnid. Then fill up the application form. Done!

B. Offline Application Process:

Prescribed application form can be collected or downloaded from the Department of Statistics and Data Science or from this website. Applicant have to make a payment of BDT 1050/- (cash) to the department office during the working hours (between 8:30 am to 4:00 pm) including Friday to complete application process. Completed application form along with attested copies of B.Sc (Hons./Pass) & MS certificates/marksheets, two recent passport size color photographs should be submitted to the office of the Department of Statistics and Data Science during the office hour between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
